Sporting Events Unlimited was created to help organizations raise awareness and donations for their cause, through fun and exciting golf tournaments & special events. Other companies may offer similar services, but once you have been to one of our tournaments, you will see what everyone else is saying. (See testimonials)

We add a personal touch to each and every tournament that sets us apart from the rest. From the time you’re greeted by one of our staff members when you arrive at the golf course, until the last raffle ticket is pulled from the hat, you will experience a full day of fun and excitement.

You could be one of the competitive golfers shooting for the 1st place trophy or the novice looking to have a day of fun; either way, our professional staff is committed to making this event one that will leave a lasting impression.

Linda Gandy

Before becoming the Owner of Sporting Events Unlimited and running one of the largest charity tournaments in the country for the past 10yrs (The Randy Jones Invitational presented by EDCO), Linda worked for the San Diego Chargers and retired after over 20 years with the team. She has sat on the committee for the USA Olympic Water Polo golf tournament for the 9 years, including acting as Chairperson for 3 of those years. She also chaired the National Kidney Foundation Cadillac Golf Classic, The John Brockington Foundation Celebrity Golf Tournament, and The Wounded Marine Fund Celebrity Golf Classic!  Overall, she has been part of raising over a million and a half dollars for charity golf tournaments over the past 20 years.

I have found a new passion in life! With my kids off on their own and now retired from the Chargers, I look forward to helping organizations raise awareness and dollars for their cause…

One tournament at a time! In my life, I discovered I had the power to save a life – my son’s life. Through a simple act, I saved the same precious, innocent life my husband and I had created years earlier. After donating my kidney to my son and watching his life change, I knew then that there are thousands of lives that can be changed by one simple act! Let that simple act come from you!

About Brandon Gandy, President

Brandon Gandy

The golf industry has been prevalent throughout Brandon's life, ever since he first started working as a dishwasher at his local country club. With access to one of the top golf clubs in San Diego County, Brandon was able to dial in his game and eventually find his way onto the California State University of San Marcos golf team.

After finishing college as a team captain and with a Bachelors degree in Corporate Finance, he went onto intern as a staff accountant at CobraPuma golf. This is where he learned what people like about the game of golf and why it has been skyrocketing in popularity over the past 20 years. One of those reasons was because golf gives people the opportunity to travel around the world to discover and play all kinds of unique courses. After processing exactly what that meant, Brandon made the jump into the hospitality and entertainment industry as he became the Membership Director at the Friars Golf Club. In 7 years, Brandon planned and operated 71 golf trips around the world, visiting 140 different courses and organizing over 2,000 travel accommodations.

Family has always been priority #1 and now with 2 kids under the age of 3, Brandon decided he wanted less time on the road and more time with his family. So, he made the decision to team up with his mom at Sporting Events Unlimited in his home town of San Diego County and is finding a new passion in helping Non-Profit organizations develop and operate successful charity golf events.
