We once again will be donating a total of $13,500 to local charities, a chance at a Million Dollars and the dream escape on a private jet to Pebble Beach.  

Last year we were able to raise over $125,000 for Randy's Foundation thanks to Randy and our generous sponsors, we are looking forward to getting back to the Padre Games & a much better 2022. We will continue to provide athletic scholarships, run kids baseball / Golf Camps, hold special events, and provide meals & necessities to front line workers & our military families!

There is No Charge for the Semifinals.  The $500 team entry fee has been paid by Randy Jones and his affiliate sponsors.

You will receive a confirmation email with additional information and the date your team is scheduled to play in January 2023.

The top 3 teams from each day will automatically qualify for a guaranteed spot in the 2 - Day Finals at Rancho Bernardo Inn on February 18th & 19th, 2023.  The entry fee for the 2-day Championship Tournament will be $550 per player ($2,200 per foursome). Included will be two rounds of Championship golf, Carts, Range Balls, Great Tee Prizes, lunch on the course both days, at least one team member must register with-in 3 days from the completion of your Semifinal Tournament in order to guarantee your spot.  (Invoices will be sent out as a reminder for all Semifinal Winning Teams).  
PLAY FOR CHARITYOver the past 40 years, Randy Jones has supported and played in hundreds of charity golf events here in San Diego. In 2012, he made the decision to run his own golf tournament with two goals in mind:

Goal 1: Involve as many local charities as possible, helping them raise awareness and dollars for their own charities.

​Goal 2: Find the top amateur foursome from all of the charity golf tournaments played in San Diego.

The Randy Jones Invitational has  1,440 golfers, representing over 200 local charities playing in Randy’s Tournament annually.  

In 2015, the Randy Jones Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization was established with an all volunteer staff & Board of Directors.  The foundation was established to provide kids from military families the opportunity and resources to get involved in sporting and outdoor activities. 
                         
​Here are just a few of the ways Randy Jones and his team have impacted the San Diego community over the past several years:
  • $121,500 in cash has been donated to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place teams charities  
  • $250,000 in cash has been awarded to kids from military families. ($5,000 per family per year)
  • $1,380,000 of in-kind golf rounds to 10,000+ golfers supporting charity golf here in San Diego.
  • $72,000 of in-kind donations is awarded to military families for a VIP Padre Experience on the fields for batting practice and lunch with Randy, included are Field level seats for the game, fishing trips & more.
  • $140,000 of in-kind lunches, gifts to Volunteers, and local charity golf tournaments.
  • 2,280 volunteers have contributed to the running of the Largest Charity Golf Tournament in the Country over the past 8 years.

Play for Pride!The Randy Jones Invitational now in its 10th year is the only championship golf tournament of its kind in San Diego and is an invitation only event. Teams receive invites for finishing 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in one of the hundreds of charity golf tournaments held in and around San Diego County. They play for pride in representing their charity as well as being the County’s best amateur team. 360 teams (1,440 golfers), All 360 teams are representing over 200 local charities, each team will play for free in one of ten Semifinal rounds (compliments of Randy Jones and his affiliated sponsors). The top 3 teams from each Semifinal tournament will qualify to play in the Finals. See the RJI official rules for more details. 
The Ultimate Prize​Teams competing in the Finals for the 10th Annual 2023 Randy Jones Invitational presented are playing for much more than a trophy. The winning team will win a golf escape for (4) to Pebble Beach which includes a round of golf  at the famous Pebble Beach Golf Links.  In addition the players’ names are engraved on the perpetual trophy. Most important the winning team will have both the prestigious honor of winning San Diego's Amateur Team Championship. and bragging rights for a year. ​ Additional prizes, awards and gift items will be given out to include $13,500 to local charities. (1st Place Team $10,000, 2nd  $2,500, 3rd  $1,000).
